can happily thank Marshalls and TJ Maxx for this 'California dreaming' top and maxi skirt duo. I adore this combo not only for it's undeniable comfort, but how easy it makes it to throw on and look casually chic. This maxi has been a staple for me this season and I highly recommend adding one (or seven) to your wardrobe! Add on pockets and it's all over. I may never wear pants again. I'm typically not a huge fan of large text on tops, but this one caught my eye with it's clean font and text that wraps around the sides. I went with gold accessories instead of silver to avoid blending in with my shirt and topped the look off with my signature red lip, which immediately made a not so hot hair day completely overlooked.
Speaking of California dreaming, with all this focus on graduating and figuring out what I'm going to do with my life (I'm getting so grown ya'll, ha!) it's certainly time to consider a little vaycay for yours truly. London perhaps? I saw this quote the other day that fits me and my constant case of wanderlust to a tee...
I might not make it to London or any where else out of the country for that matter for a bit but there is one place I'm counting down the days until. That's right, New York, baby! I'm leaving for a couple of weeks after Christmas to apartment hunt and catch up with several of the wonderful people I met this summer during my internship. I've missed it terribly but I'm trying to make the most out of the time I have left in school so I can get back to launch my career. Just 6 more weeks!
