Photo Shoot, Photo Shoot

Yesterday was a crazy warm and gorgeous January afternoon at Colonel Francis Beatty Park in Charlotte, NC. I was reunited with the talented model, Hannah, who strutted my design down the runway this past September for Charlotte Fashion Week and one of my personal besties, Zach Alston (photographer), as well as the lovely Poala Nova (hair and makeup).  Take a look at some of my favorite shots and behind the scenes photos from the vintage lace and floral inspired shoot (and the flower crown I made!).

Evil queen vibe
Photographer: Zach Alston
Model: Hannah Slep
Wardrobe stylist: Mollie Bradford
Hair & MUA: Paola Nova

Styling: For this look, I took a sleeveless dress and belted it with a mint-colored skinny and off-the-shoulder top to appear as one cohesive piece.
Styling: The idea behind this look was sultry simplicity.  The sheer lace top played beautifully against the skin, paired with the floral crown I made to play up the romantic feel. Lana Del Rey inspired? Maybe.
Styling: For this look I wanted to go heavy with floral on floral. The top button was fastened to show off the pearl strands, denim top was cuffed and pushed up the arm to make 3/4 length, and the leather over-the-shoulder bag helped bring the modern/vintage look all together. She even is wearing nude floral print stilettos.
Styling: Same as above.  Shoes? Nude opened toe pumps with bow.
