Must Haves: Beauty Products

Here are a few of the beauty products I have tried and have gotten positive results. They are my must haves no matter what season! I hope you find this helpful!

Jergens Natural Glow- a lotion that gives a gradual/natural sun kissed tint to your skin. It even has a little shimmer that sparkles in the sunlight. I'm pretty fair so this is nice year round. No orange skin! Thank goodness! Tip: rub in well over large areas of the body, such as legs. With more exposure to the sun the lotion seems to activate quicker. So that means if you missed a spot you could have a streak or two. These wear off with shaving and exfoliating or even soap and water if you scrub. Best time to apply would be after you shower once the skin has been patted off dry leaving just a little moisture on the surface.

Dior Airflash- Recently purchased this. Very lightweight feel with easy-on coverage for an airbrushed look. For application I recommend blotting with a sponge. Make sure you get the jaw and hairline smoothed out to avoid streaks. These can easily be rubbed in after dry. When using this product, less is more because you can literally use less of it! A little more expensive, but is beneficial to the wearer. ($60 at Sephora)

Covergirl NatureLuxe- Also gives a very natural appearance. I love how it evens out the complextion. Use a sponge or brush to apply. It's a little bottle that last about 3 months and is small enough to slip in your purse or bag for traveling. Gives the skin a fresh, light feel and is an easy application. With ingredients like mango, shea butter, and cucumber, it's less like wearing make up and more like enriching the skin. (Comes in 14 shades with a suggested retail price of $11.99)

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit facial scrub- This foamy scrub is easy on the skin and smells great! Not to mention it is a burst of freshness that will get you up in the morning and feeling refreshed before bedtime.

John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner- As a dirty blonde I have been in the mood for a lighter natural-looking shade of blonde but wasn't fond of the idea of my roots growing out after being colored. I tried out the conditioner and found after just one wash my hair felt softer and appeared shinier when dry. To get the full result, the shampoo and conditioner combo are recommended. It's a great way to get lighter looking hair without shoveling out big bucks to the salon. A gradual approach to an unprocessed look! (Also comes in other shades)
Maybelline Lash Stiletto mascara- This mascara helped me discover lashes I didn't even know I had! I've had people argue with me that my lashes were fake (in a good way) when wearing this! The thin brush makes globing less likely. It stays on all day and also comes in waterproof.
